Taking its own spin on underground club culture, CUPRA ventured into the streets of Manchester to unveil its latest fully-electric model, the RAVAL.
Over a blockbuster pop-up event, the Spanish car manufacturer asserted the strengths of performance, whether that be behind the wheel or on stage. Forming part of a 12-city activation, attendees were ushered into the Projekts Skatepark for the vehicle’s world premiere, soundtracked by drum n’ bass mainstays Chase & Status and alt-rap kingpin Lancey Foux. Launching their first collaboration to date, the tag-team trio road-tested their latest track ‘Homework’, mounting onto the urban engine during a need-for-speed performance.

At a stone’s throw away, the CUPRA City Garage was in full effect, a neon-lit after-hours spot that hosted the rest of the evening, and also forms part of a global network between Paris, Madrid and Milan. Flaunting sets from top-shelf selector Skream, the space unlocked a fresh energy within its crowd, fuelled by ultra-smooth deep house cuts, hot-headed electro beats and bone-shaking basslines.
A high-profile guest list spanning music, television, fashion and digital culture attended, including Top Boy’s Kadeem Ramsay and YouTube creator Syndicate (Tom Cassell), alongside leading media and industry figures partied into the early hours.
Priding itself as one of the fastest-growing automotive brands worldwide, CUPRA expands its collaborative forces with the RAVAL and provides the ultimate urban ride, defining a new era along the way.
