Los Angeles, CA – Hip Hop fans were elated after the National Football League revealed the lineup for the Pepsi halftime show last week.

Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige are expected to take centerstage at SoFi Stadium on February 13, 2022, marking the most Hip Hop-centric performance in NFL history.

While it will undoubtedly be a significant moment for the culture, Eazy-E’s daughter Ebie is hoping his former N.W.A partner-in-rhyme Dr. Dre will at least give a shout out to the late legend, making it even more memorable.

Speaking to TMZ, Ebie said she wants Dre to pay tribute to her father considering two other Compton icons will be onstage. She added Eazy-E blazed a trail for other gangsta rappers to follow and helped make the genre a permanent part of Hip Hop history.

Kendrick Lamar, the sole Compton native aside from Dr. Dre, once credited Eazy-E for his entire career, saying, “I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Eazy.”

Ebie’s expectations are in line with the length of the 20-minute show. She’s hoping for a quick “RIP Eazy” at some point during the star-studded performance, which would “mean the world” to her.

Eazy-E and Dr. Dre had a falling out during their N.W.A heyday but ultimately made peace before Eazy died in 1995.

Ebie recently explored her father’s death in a WEtv documentary called The Mysterious Death of Eazy-E. Although she attempted to get Ice Cube involved, she ended up going forward without him.

Instead, Ebie, her mother Tracy and journalist Jasmine Simpkins unraveled the story themselves by tracking down eyewitnesses to Eazy-E’s last days, revealing unseen footage and testing long-held theories around his untimely death.
