Electronic Track Of The Week: Grand Larsonie – “Trans-porting”

Posted by

This week, we picked the track “Trans-porting” by Baltimore, Maryland-based independent electronic artist/keyboardist Grand Larsonie.  This experimental underground electronic record mixing acid house and Baltimore club into a jaw-dropping mantra-like soundtrack is just beautiful.

Soaking his electronic productions in new influences, Grand Larsonie’s one-of-a-kind sound mixes spirituality with music, in cyclical and experimental ways no one would dare to even imagine before hearing a song like “Trans-porting.” All about balance and reflecting human nature like no other, Grand Larsonie has been steadily proving he is a master at a new genre of music, his own.

Grand Larsonie started playing classical piano in the 3rd grade. He then joined the metal band “This Side Of The Sky ” in 2010-2011. Today, he pulls influence from Ambient, Hip-Hop, House, Rock, and Jazz, and creates his own special flavor by blending seemingly far apart genres into beautiful productions.

For those who loved “Tran-porting” make sure to check out “Subdued Euphoria,” another of his spectacular releases.
