50 Cent and Eminem are back at it again. According to TheWrap, 50 has enlisted his close friend Em for a role in his upcoming Black Mafia Family series coming to STARZ. The 8 Mile actor is reportedly set to star as famed FBI informant Rick “White Boy Rick” Wershe.
“I’m honored and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show BMF,” 50 Cent relayed in a statement. “We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem.”

Eminem will be making a guest appearance on the show for one episode as White Boy Rick (born Rick Wershe Jr.). For those unfamiliar, Rick was a teenage drug dealer growing up on Detroit’s East Side.
He was arrested by the FBI by the time he was 17 for cocaine possession and sentenced to life in prison. White Boy Rick was eventually paroled and released in 2020 after 32 years behind bars.
His story was also turned into a 2018 blockbuster starring Matthew McConaughey. White Boy Rick recently filed a hefty lawsuit against the FBI seeking $100 million in damages.
Filmed in Atlanta and Detroit, Black Mafia Family is set to debut on STARZ on September 26. The rest of the cast includes Snoop Dogg, who will play a pastor, LaLa Anthony, Serayah and more.
