Miami, FL – Jack Harlow, Saweetie, 24kGoldn and Kitty Ca$h have been tapped to perform during Miley Cyrus and actor Pete Davidson’s New Year’s Eve special.
Titled Miley’s New Years’ Eve Party, the special is hosted by the Saturday Night Live personality and “We Can’t Stop” singer live from Miami, Florida on NBC and Peacock from 10:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. on Friday (December 31). The special marks the end of Carson Daly’s reign as NBC’s New Year’s Eve host after 16 years. Last year, Daly hosted the special live from Times Square with Amber Ruffin and Stephen “Twitch” Boss.

The appearance from Jack Harlow will cap off a monster year for the Kentucky rapper. Harlow earned his earn his second Grammy Award nomination this year thanks to his feature on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby” and graced the cover of Variety’s Hitmakers 2021 print issue. He was also awarded the “Hitmaker of Tomorrow” award at Variety’s Hitmakers Brunch. Amidst all the success the Grammy-nominated rapper recently spoke about the responsibility that comes with being a white rapper.
“People think of white rappers using Hip Hop as a vehicle,” he said to Billboard. “It’s important that people know I love Hip Hop and want to stay in Hip Hop and want to be part of Hip Hop and I’m using it as a vehicle to fuel my dreams.”
As for Saweetie, she’s also had a massive 2021. Aside from collaborating with McDonald’s, Calvin Klein and Amazon Live, she also contributed music to the Insecure Season 5 soundtrack and had a viral hit with “Best Friend,” which was nominated for Best Rap Song at 2022 Grammys and went platinum in June.
“I can’t believe I worked this hard,” the 28-year-old told PEOPLE in a December 8 interview. “It’s just trying to find balance right now. I have no balance. Everything is just work, work, work and I don’t have an outlet. I don’t have a therapist. I don’t hang out with any of my friends because I work so much, so it’s just trying to thug it out into until the New Year.”
