JAY-Z Gets Drink Spilled On Him While Attending Brooklyn Nets Game With Meek Mill

JAY-Z has been making more appearances at the Barclays Center now that the NBA season is back in full effect. The Songwriting Hall of Famer was a guest alongside Meek Mill on Wednesday night (October 27) when the Brooklyn Nets took on the Miami Heat.

The energy inside Barclays Center was high for another packed game, and JAY-Z’s presence only amplified the feeling. At one point in the game, Nets All-star shooting guard James Harden lobbed a pass to Blake Griffin for a pounding slam dunk that caused the arena to erupt.

JAY-Z was excited to see the play go off without a hitch, but Brooklyn Nets co-owner Clara Wu Tsai almost ruined the moment. After the play went off, Tsai got up from her seat and pulled on Hov’s arm, causing him to spill his drink on himself.

The Brooklyn legend’s reaction was meme-worthy as he tried to avoid the spill with the bit of space he had between Tsai and friend OG Juan. Thankfully, instead of getting upset, Jay laughed it off and tapped Tsai on her side for causing the spill. The Heat beat the Nets 106-93 with league superstar Kevin Durant pouring in 25 points and Miami All-star big man Bam Adebayo dropping 24 points.

After the game, JAY-Z did his usual thing and took time out to talk to players. Miami Heat All-star point guard Kyle Lowry and forward P.J. Tucker chopped it up with the Roc Nation boss and Meek Mill.

Jay did the same thing last weekend during halftime of the Brooklyn Nets vs. Charlotte Hornets game. The Hornets’ reigning Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball was warming up as JAY-Z shared a few words with him.

The exchange had people on social media coming up with all sorts of topics the two might’ve spoken about. LaMelo is currently signed to Roc Nation Sports and Puma as one of their athletes.
