Juice Wrld’s “Come & Go” collaboration with Marshmello has been chosen as the anthem for ESPN’s coverage of the 2020-2021 college football season. ESPN debuted a video package featuring the late rapper’s song on Wednesday (August 26).
The Marshmello-produced track appears on Juice’s posthumous album Legends Never Die, which was released in July. The deceased artist’s LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 while “Come & Go” peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100.
“Juice was like no other and was one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever met,” Marshmello said in a press release. “Musically we connected so well and working with him was some of the most memorable moments of my life. ‘Come & Go’ is a track that represents both of us and proves that he lives through his music forever! Legends Never Die.”
The upcoming college football season is mired in uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The seventh annual Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff is scheduled to take place on Saturday (August 29), but multiple teams and conferences won’t be playing in 2020.
Major conferences such as the Big 10 and Pac-12 have postponed fall sports. The SEC, ACC and Big 12 are moving forward with their seasons using revised schedules.
