Los Angeles, CA – West Coast Hip Hop emeritus Warren G may have good fame, friends and fortune around him but he’s still not above giving back to those in need.
The “Regulator” rapper was recently front and center inside Los Angeles’ highly publicized Skid Row to dish out burgers, baked beans and potato salad from his own Sniffin’ Griffin BBQ restaurant.
Warren G patterned with The Los Angeles Community Action Network (LA CAN) and Polo’s Pantry, a local mobile food bank, to effectively feed hundreds of displaced Americans.
“I’m just happy to get the opportunity to really come down here and show my love you know, so it’s all good. And I’m gonna continue to do it, ain’t gonna stop, this ain’t a one-time thing,” Warren G assured to L.A. Taco.

“It’s a lot of good people down here, you know, just people look at them as like trash. These are real people here, you know, you have to open up and give them opportunities.”
In April, federal Judge David O. Carter ripped Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and city officials for allowing the homeless population to fester.
A week later, the city introduced 54 housing units between 385 and 400 square feet as part of a billion-dollar pledge to end the solution once and for all.
Naturally, the initiative was paused indefinitely just last week.
For now, Warren G understands the people’s plight as he continues to do his part.
“When you don’t have nowhere to go and you’re driven to where there’s nowhere else to go, then you turn to places like this, which is not a bad thing,” he said.
Even with his charitable spirit, Warren G has a lot to be thankful for. His son, USC wide receiver Olaijah Griffin, recently inked a NFL deal with the Buffalo Bills.
