Soulja Boy Big Ups Kim Kardashian's 'Lyrical Venom' Raps Amid Kanye West Divorce

If anything, the last two years have proven anything is possible. From the COVID-19 pandemic and an insurrection at the White House to the back-to-back deaths of Hip Hop legends DMX, Digital Underground’s Shock G and former Bad Boy rapper Black Rob, 2020 and 2021 have been nothing less than a disaster.

And now — Kim Kardashian is rapping. On Thursday (October 21), Akademiks shared a post with the former reality television queen getting busy in the booth. While the clip is short, Kardashian is heard rapping, “I know you little girls came laughing at me/For your information, I wasn’t asleep/I was resting my eyes, why you worried about me?/But now I’m wide awake and…”

Akademiks captioned the post, “Y’all ready for the lyrical venom #kimkardashian spittin?” Naturally, the comment section blew up with reactions, mostly begging her to stop. But Soulja Boy, who has made it known repeatedly how much he lusts after the 40-year-old mother of four, showed his support with a simple “fire” emoji.

Soulja Boy’s comment isn’t surprising. In June, the “Crank Dat” rapper reacted to a series of Instagram photos Kardashian posted of herself at a tennis court wearing nothing but a bralette and underwear.

She wrote in the caption, “Tennis anyone!?” to which Soulja Boy replied, “I wanna play.” His comment arrived four months after Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, her husband of seven years. While it looked like there was a reconciliation in the works following his Donda listening event in Chicago earlier this summer, the couple is currently dividing up assets, making it clear the split is still very much on.

Soulja also trolled Ye with one of his infamous “I did it first” posts by insinuating he hooked up with Kardashian before Kimye was a thing.

Meanwhile, Kardashian made her Saturday Night Live debut on October 9 where she put those rapping, um, skills to use for the “Ladies Night Song” skit and even took a few jabs at Ye during her opening monologue.

“I married the best rapper of all time,” she said. “Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you had to know it came down to just one thing — his personality. I know that sounds mean, but people keep telling me comedy comes from truth and if there’s one thing I always strive to be it’s genuine.”
