YBN Nahmir Threatens To Shoot Up Troll's Mother's House

Despite flexing some diamond chains at the beginning of 2022, YBN Nahmir has spent most of this year trying to get some help. The Young Boss N-gga co-founder revealed in March that he was an alcoholic and that he would be falling back from the spotlight in order to seek treatment.

“I never knew addiction was this hard. Before hand it was easy for me to block it out, but now it’s taking a toll..It’s just been a lot going on in my life behind close doors that I leave off the internet,” Nahmir wrote on Twitter at the time. “The only thing I wanna do now in life is get help, therapy or even rehab. To feel like myself again & get my family back. I’m sorry y’all. I slipped.”

While Nahmir has maintained a low profile since disclosing that news, the “Opp Stoppa” made headlines on Monday (June 6) after audio emerged of him going back and forth with a troll in his Instagram DM’s and threatening to shoot up the troll’s mother.

“You’re from Fort Worth bro, let’s be honest,” Nahmir can be heard saying at one point. “I’m from North Long Beach…like n-gga do you filthy like really beat your motherfuckin’ ass. N-gga all that lifting weights and all that is out that shit do not matter. Really fuck that bro, and I’ll just shoot you in your face right after cuz.”

He continues, “I’ll come to Forth Worth and beat your ass and shoot your mama house up dude. Be honest yourself.”

While it’s unclear why Nahmir is so viscerally upset at the person in question, people in the comments couldn’t help but think the threat was in poor taste since it emerged shortly after Metro Boomin’s mother was shot and killed by her husband on Friday (June 3) before he turned the gun on himself.

“These not the times bro just log out,” one person commented on No Jumper’s Instagram. Commenters also were mostly confused by Nahmir’s statement, since the YBN head is from Birmingham, Alabama and not North Long Beach, California.

“I thought he was from Alabama tho,” wrote one person on IG.

On the music front, YBN Nahmir dropped off a loosie titled “By My Lonely” earlier in 2022, but hasn’t dropped a project since his 2021 album Visionland, which spawned the gold-selling, 21 Savage-featuring “Opp Stoppa” single.
