Posted by Rhye songwriter Michael Milosh has been accused of abuse by his ex-wife.
The musician’s former partner Alexa Nikolas made the claims in an open letter, posting her account on Instagram in a note titled ‘Groomed By The Groom’.
In it, she alleges Milosh began communicating with her when she was just 16 years old – he was 33 at the time – and that their relationship included acts of sexual coercion and physical abuse.
The two married, and have since divorced, with Michael Milosh issuing a response in which he calls the account “outrageously false” and her open letter “a piece of revisionist fiction.”
The musician says the statement is “provably untrue” before adding that he is “fully prepared to cooperate with any independent investigation…”
Alexa Nikolas has since posted a further statement, saying: “This is typical megalomaniacal narcissistic behavior… Milosh stood there today denying the truth. Even with evidence in front of him.”
The two married in 2012; Nikolas and Milosh separated in 2016, with the divorce becoming finalised in 2019.
