J. Cole played in his second professional game in the African Basketball League on Tuesday (May 18) and was shut out in the scoring column but the Rwanda Patriots took home another win to keep their undefeated season going.
It was a match up Cole is probably going to want to forget against GNBC. Outside of a nice blocked shot early on in the game, the North Carolina native threw up a couple of bricks from deep and completely missed the rim on both three-point attempts. In 15 minutes on the floor, J. Cole had one steal, one block and no points in their second win.

In his first appearance off the bench over the weekend, the former St. John’s walk-on scored three points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out two assists and had three turnovers. The Born Sinner rapper is expected to play in three to six games in his stint with the Rwanda Patriots.
J. Cole’s rollout for The Off-Season couldn’t have gone much better. After releasing “i n t e r l u d e” and a short documentary, the album arrived for fans more than three years since KOD.
The Off-Season is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — which would be his sixth consecutive at the apex — with about 300,000 album-equivalent units sold. The debut could be the largest week by an artist in 2021. Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) sold roughly 291,000 total album-equivalent units.
