Kanye West has been a hot topic since his multiple public listening parties, delayed album drop and eventual release of his 10th studio album Donda, which finally materialized on Sunday (August 29).
During the long road to its arrival, Kanye made several changes to the project, flying out several producers and artists to finish it.
Over the weekend, fans noticed DaBaby’s verse on “Jail” was scrubbed and JAY-Z’s original was put back in place, leading to confusion. Now, Soulja Boy is speaking out after he was apparently cut from the song “Remote Control.”
Not long after the project dropped, a fan asked the “Crank Dat” rapper what he thought about Donda, to which he tweeted, “IDK how to feel, Kanye sent me that song ‘remote control’ and I don’t hear my verse on it…hmm fuck that n-gga.”

R&B singer Chris Brown expressed some similar sentiments after he was removed from Donda, as well. Once Donda hit streaming platforms, the 32-year-old posted a since-deleted Instagram Story with the caption, “Kanye a whole hoe.” He followed up with another Instagram Story that read, “Nah he tweakin.”
Meanwhile, Kanye West fans have been devouring the album like its their last meal. Contributions from Lil Baby, JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk and more highlight the 27-track project but leaving less room for Kanye to rap.
But according to Chart Data, Donda is already a huge success, racking up almost 100 million global streams on Spotify in its first 24 hours, which marks the second biggest album debut ever on the streaming platform.
