Boosie Badazz held the official premiere for his My Struggle biopic last week and Lil Duval called out celebrities for their lack of support. Looking for a sales boost, Boosie is reaching out to Drake to help promote his movie in the Canadian market.
“Ay Drake, I need you to tell Canada fuck with my biopic,” Boosie said in an Instagram video posted on Monday (September 27). “Go fuck with my film. Go on tell the 6 go fuck with my film. [I] know you got power. Help me out, n-gga.”

Fans can purchase Boosie Badazz’s My Struggle for $19.99 over on his website, with the behind-the-scenes cuts on sale for an extra $9.99. The biopic largely mirrors his life’s story of overcoming the odds growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
However, Boosie Badazz is claiming his Instagram account was suspended for asking Drake for help. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper had his account taken down in August for slapping a man in the music video to his DaBaby collaboration “Period.”
“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHNG AGAIN,” he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday (September 28). “THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT IM PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. YALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE. BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS THANKS.”

Last week, Lil Duval shamed the industry for not showing the same support to Boosie Badazz’s My Struggle as they did for the premiere of 50 Cent’s Black Mafia Family series on Starz.
“Every celeb you can think of was at BMF premiere,” he wrote. But at @hesbackagain2021 premiere I only saw @qcmceo_p @troublemmb and @iamdesibanks all I’m saying is we gotta support the streets the same way we support the mainstream stuff. Especially in the south. Cuz they really don’t fuck wit us they just deal wit us. #staywoke.”

Drake has yet to respond to Boosie Badazz’s request, but he’s not one to shy away from a good deed. He recently showed love to an aspiring rapper named Apollo Lofton after he waited nearly two hours outside of a Miami store to play him some of his music.
