Meek Mill’s long-awaited Expensive Pain album is set to arrive at midnight ET on Friday (October 1). With the anticipated project mere hours away from hitting streaming services, Meek shared the LP’s star-studded tracklist early Thursday (September 30) on a hand-written note in marker pen.
Across the 17-track album, the Philly rhymer has enlisted an all-star supporting cast that includes Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Kehlani, Moneybagg Yo, A$AP Ferg, Brent Faiyaz, Vory and U.K. rapper Giggs, who he was recently spotted hanging out with in London.

The project also features an introspective tribute track to the late Nipsey Hussle and Lil Snupe called “Angels.” Meek was actually working on a joint project with Nipsey prior to his tragic death in March 2019.
NBA superstar James Harden, a close friend of the Dreamchasers CEO, has raised the stakes surrounding Meek Mill’s fifth studio effort by claiming that Expensive Pain is his best body of work.
“I’ve been knowing Meek and listening to Meek for a very long time,” the Brooklyn Nets star said in a recent interview with Spotify’s RapCaviar. “He’s got a tape that’s going to be one of the best ones he’s put out. One thing about Meek, he loves to rap. I love to hoop, I’d do it without the money. He’s one of them dudes. So one thing about him, he’s gonna find a way to get back.”

While Akademiks recently added fuel to a rumored beef between Meek Mill and Rick Ross, the MMG mogul showed his support for Meek’s upcoming album by posting the cover art on Instagram and shouting him out on Instagram Live.
Expensive Pain serves as the follow-up to Meek Mill’s 2018 album Championships, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified platinum. The project was also nominated for Best Rap Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
