Future sat down for a sprawling cover shoot with GQ on Monday (April 18) and disclosed some wild details about his time as a rap superstar. He stated that he has written some Kanye West’s biggest records without being credited and added that him being labeled as “toxic” isn’t the most accurate description of King Pluto.
“People have their own definition of what toxic is,” Future said. “[These women] all were toxic to me. They just don’t want to admit it.”
During a GQ segment that fielded questions from fellow celebrities, the platinum-selling rapper was also asked by Julia Fox if he wanted to have more kids. The Atlanta lyricist already has seven with multiple women. However, he added that he does want to have more kids with the woman he can call his “wife” down the line.
“Um, yes,” he said. “By my wife, if I ever get married. I wanna have kids by my wife of course. It can be like 3, cause I never had more than one kid by a girl, so if I had two by her then it’s like more than I had. So I feel like it’s more special.”

Elsewhere in the interview, he said he did write a few records for Ye, but has no hard feelings for not being given the proper credits, as that just comes with the territory when working for Kanye.
“Sometimes not getting credit when you write with him because the love of the art is…I want it to be right,” he said. “Top tier. Just being able to create and put those textures over different music, and being involved with something like that.”
