Love them or hate them, Kanye West’s Yeezy sneakers are often the center of attention in the footwear world. With Kanye’s Yeezy 450 Sulfur having been out for a few months, fan account Yeezy Mafia wanted to test the waters on the reception of the kicks on Monday (July 11).
While there’s been a mixed reaction to the sneakers, one British bakery chain named Greggs decided to have some fun at Kanye’s expense and it’s safe to say they weren’t fans of the cream-colored 450s.
“Two Sausage Rolls short of a multipack,” Greggs’ official Twitter account joked.

Greggs knows a thing or two about sausage rolls and the playful jab went over well with their fan base as the tweet accumulated well over 2,000 likes.

The Sulfur colorway arrived in May for a retail price of $200. They are currently available on re-sale marketplaces such as StockX for close to their retail value, so demand doesn’t appear to be as high as some other Yeezy releases.
As far as what’s ahead on the Yeezy calendar, three colorways of slides will arrive on July 25 with a pair of Yeezy 700s hitting online retailers in August.

It’s been an up-and-down week for the always-turbulent world of Kanye West.
In addition to being sued by a designer clothing rental service for $400,000, Kanye earned his first Emmy nomination as an executive producer on Netflix’s Jeen-Yuhs documentary in the Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series category.
