Posted by Megan Thee Stallion has surprised fans by revealing that she’ll be dropping her brand new album Traumazine this Friday (August 12).
After track leaks, as well as her tracklist and cover art surfacing in recent days, the Houston rapper has decided to move forward and release the project this week. Meg has said the 18-track album will be her last on the 1501 Ent. roster, which she’s had a ton of public issues with as of late.
“Y’all know I always have problems with dropping my music under this label, all these games and having to go to court just to put out my art has been so stressful,” Megan tweeted on Thursday (August 11). “Thank you hotties for rocking with me through the bullshit WE ALMOST OUT LETS STAY FOCUSED AND RUN THIS LAST ONE UP.”
She added in a separate tweet: “From my cover art, pieces of my track list and me even hearing a part of a song I haven’t dropped yet leaking (and we ALL know who the only ppl who had access to all these PRIVATE links are..) I might as well…lol.”

The Traumazine cover art has now officially arrived and the black-and-white tri-photo of the Megan Thee Stallion is the same as the leaked edition from last week.
Her tracklist is a star-studded affair and fans can expect features from Key Glock, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Future, Jhené Aiko, Sauce Walka, Lucky Daye, Dua Lipa and more.

Megan confirmed her album was done in late July and she ramped up the promo tour earlier this week with an L.A. Leakers freestyle. Over Warren G and Nate Dogg’s “Regulate” beat, Tina Snow sent a clear message to her record label.
“These bitches don’t like me but I got to make them hate me/ How you want to be me, at the same time wanna shade me?/ I be making money on the muthafucking daily/ Got my label mad but them n-ggas gotta pay me,” she rapped.

The 27-year-old is signed to both 300 Entertainmentand 1501 Certified Entertainment, but she’s currently in the middle of a legal battle with the latter and its owner Carl Crawford.
Megan has claimed Crawford hasn’t paid her a dime since she joined the independent Houston label in 2018, and when she tried to leave, 1501 fought back. Megan has filed four lawsuits against the label, with the first one coming in March 2020, where she alleged they were trying to stop her from releasing new music.
The drama continued when Tina Snow released Something for Thee Hotties last October, which 1501 claimed didn’t meet the legal definition of an “album” and therefore didn’t count toward fulfilling her contract; Megan begged to differ. The two sides are still duking it out in court.
