South London rapper Cristale has shared her new single, ‘Top 3’.
Over jittery, Sinogrime-infused production courtesy of Young Chencs (Central Cee, M Huncho, Unknown T), Cristale trades introspection for kinetic urgency on a track that is just as much confrontational as it is playful.
The Brixton-born artist has been steadily building momentum with her nuanced raps, pop-conscious sonics and ability to bridge musical scenes without diluting her identity.
Fresh from her recent appearance on Skrillex & ISOxo’s high-octane new track ‘Smoke’, Cristale is no stranger to electronic soundscapes, having made her mark with ‘Dance’ in collaboration with Mancunian DNB producer Bou and Nottingham rapper 163 Margs.
The South London rapper also features on Kasabian’s remix of their track ‘G.O.A.T’, which is currently the opening theme of Sky Sports Premier League.
Armed with co-signs from the likes of Skrillex, Toddla T, Tiffany Calver and Kano and standout roles in Topboy and the TV adaptation of Candice Carty-Williams’ Queenie, Cristale’s profile continues to rise.
The new single comes accompanied with a music video directed by Sam Fallover. Tune in below.
