Posted by Scottish musician Jacob Alon will release a new live album on August 14th, memorialising a sold-out show at The Roundhouse in London back in April. The upcoming project, titled Live From The Roundhouse, serves as a definitive document of the artist’s recent touring success.
Live From The Roundhouse will be released on limited-edition double vinyl on August 18th, alongside a beautifully filmed version of the full show shot on 16mm film by Peter Eason Daniels. The triumphant London show capped a whirlwind few months for Jacob Alon, coming almost a year since the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album In Limerence.
The live album features 13 tracks showcasing Jacob’s live pedigree and folk-adjacent repertoire. A master of restraint, it presents the Fife artist at their most beguiling and devastating.
With the live album announcement comes a striking cover of Nirvana’s ‘All Apologies’.
