The record features a stellar lineup of collaborators, including multi-award-winning South London rapper Dave, as well as contributions from Natanya and Keaton Henson. Notably, the lead single, ‘all my favourite people are sad’, was written alongside Eg White, the acclaimed songwriter known for sculpting Adele’s breakout hit ‘Chasing Pavements’.
A Deeply Personal Exploration
Taken as a whole, the album represents Kamal. in full 360-degree vision. Reflecting on the themes of the project, he shares: “Shit has happened in my life, I’ve seen really good, beautiful people suffer, for no reason whatsoever. That’s why I make music: to soothe myself, and try to understand things. I’m not pushing any specific ideology, I’m just asking questions.”
This introspective approach is evident throughout the tracklist, as Kamal. navigates the complexities of modern life with vulnerability and precision. Tune in to the full album below.
