Welsh songwriter Adam Hender is moving with velocity.
His debut album lands on October 30th, and it follows extensive sessions on both sides of the Atlantic.
Despite his success, though, Adam Hender knows exactly who he is, where he’s from, and where he’s going.
There’s a stunning sense of detail to new song ‘Sick’, a self-accusatory song that is both brave and revealing.
Shrouded in that wonderful production, he sings: “I’m so sick / Sick for your loving… Look what you’ve done to me / You’re so sick…”
A song with a deeply personal meaning, Adam comments: “People assume that you’re consistently pointing the finger, but that may necessarily not be the case. The song really is about me, looking at myself.”
We’re able to share the full video for the song, a beautifully shot ballet dance which comes to signify the struggles of a relationship.
A neat counterpoint to the feelings with Adam Hender’s songwriting, ‘Sick’ is a triumph.
