Drake has officially cemented his status as a music industry titan, becoming the first artist in history to occupy the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart simultaneously. This unprecedented achievement follows the release of his latest projects: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.
According to a Billboard report published on Sunday, May 24, 2026, the trifecta of albums debuted at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, respectively. This milestone marks a significant moment for the artist, as he is the first to hold the top three entries concurrently since the Billboard 200 chart began its weekly publication in March 1956.
The commercial performance of these projects has been staggering. Iceman led the charge with 463,000 equivalent album units, while Habibti and Maid of Honour contributed 114,000 and 110,000 units, respectively. In total, the OVO leader moved 687,000 units in the seven-day period following their May 15 release.
With this feat, Drake has secured 15 career No. 1 albums, surpassing the record previously held by Jay-Z, who has 14. He is currently tied with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among soloists, trailing only The Beatles, who hold the all-time record with 19.
Beyond the charts, the rollout has been marked by a flurry of visual content, with the artist dropping 18 music videos to support the Iceman and Habibti projects. However, the release has not been without controversy. Iceman has drawn significant attention for its lyrical content, which includes pointed jabs at Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Rick Ross, and Jay-Z.
Rick Ross has been particularly vocal in his criticism, labeling the music on Iceman as “horrendous” during a recent appearance on the PBD Podcast. Despite the pushback from peers, the numbers confirm that the public’s appetite for the artist’s work remains at an all-time high.
