GRACEY's 'Got You Covered' Is An Ode To Friendship

GRACEY returns with new friendship bop ‘Got You Covered’.

The songwriter went Top 10 with recent single ‘Don’t Need Love’, before gaining a nomination for Best British Single at the BRIT Awards.

‘Got You Covered’ finds GRACEY taking it all back home, focussing on friendship and the mutual support structures she has pieced together.

As GRACEY puts it, ‘Got Your Covered’ is “a love song to my best mate…”

“It’s about being there for someone no matter what, and recently she’s been battling an eating disorder alongside going through a heartbreak. It’s about having someone’s back through the highest and lowest points of life, and it’s my way of telling her she is never alone. It’s a message I think needs to be said right now; while the pandemic has made it hard to physically be together, it’s proved the importance and value of these relationships even more.”

Always willing to open her art out to others, GRACEY like with Billen Ted for production, who add a faint taste of UKG bounce to proceedings.

She adds: “I was also so excited to reunite with Billen Ted. They were a huge part of bringing ‘Don’t Need Love’ to life and they did the same with this song! The garage/dance influence they brought takes me right back to nights with my friendship group as 17-year-olds, and I hope it spreads some good energy as we head into the summer months.”
