Liam Gallagher will stream a solo show from a boat on the river Thames next month.
The project is built by Melody VR, who have previously linked with London’s Brixton Academy for a series of enhanced streams.
Building special events for fans, this new project finds Liam Gallagher performing on a boat alongside his band.
Eagle-eyed Londoners spotted the iconic Oasis frontman last week, sparking rumours that something special was about to happen.
Down By The River Thames takes place on December 5th, a paid streaming event that matches his performance against iconic London landmarks.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday November 13th.
Priority Tickets for O2 customers will be available here from this Wednesday 11th November at 9:00am on pre-sale ahead of general release.
Liam comments…
“To all my brothers and sisters around the world. I’m performing a one-off celestial live performance for you to stream, ‘Down By The River Thames’, on 5th December 2020. I’ll be performing tracks from my two number 1 solo albums as well as some stone cold Oasis classics, some of which you haven’t heard me sing for a long, long time. C’mon you know. LG x”.
