She Drew The Gun Shares New Single 'Cut Me Down'

She Drew The Gun returns with new single ‘Cut Me Down’.

The hugely outspoken Merseyside talent remains an utter inspiration, and her new album ‘Behave Myself’ is incoming.

Produced by Ross Orton it shows a pointed, visceral side to her work, as exhibited by new single ‘Cut Me Down’.

Online now, it finds Louisa Roach leading from the front, with her use of melody interweaving with potent angst.

She says: “Resisterhood continued. Inspired by the Las Tesis protests in Chile which brought a new level to the idea of a protest song, where hundreds of thousands of women took to the streets and sang ‘The Rapist is You’. The police, the government, the judges, the system was not designed to look after womens’ rights and it still does not, so I will have to fight ‘Deeper, faster, harder, cheaper, stronger, further smarter’ just to get even with you.”

Tune in now.

‘Behave Myself’ will be released on September 24th.
