2 Chainz Tells LeBron James To 'Get Your Poodle' After Kevin Hart Freestyles For Him

Hip Hop was well-represented at Super Bowl LVI on Sunday night (February 13) as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and 50 Cent handled the Pepsi Halftime Show.

The event brought all sorts of rappers and figures from Hip Hop culture to Los Angeles, California, and with that came a few who wanted to live out their rap star dreams, such as comedian and actor Kevin Hart.

Kevin sat in a suite with 2 Chainz and NBA superstar LeBron James at SoFi Stadium, where he took it upon himself to freestyle rap for his friends. Channeling his Chocolate Droppa persona, the comedian busted out an aggressive freestyle that barely moved 2 Chainz.

“All I’m tryna do is get signed, brother/You got me, I got mine, fuck it, in the bag/I got it, uh take it, I got it uh/Same chips different bag,” Kevin Hart rapped before Tity Boi turned the camera at LeBron asking for help.

“Help me brother,” 2 Chainz urged King James, who was dancing by himself. “Bro, get your poodle!”

Even though he was joking, Kevin Hart does take Hip Hop seriously. Earlier this month, Deadline reported Kevin’s Hartbeat production company are creating a Hip Hop-themed animated series set to premiere on HBO Max later this year.
