Humble, Tx – 6ix9ine is looking to get booked for more shows now that the country is easing lockdowns and he’s a free man, but he ran into trouble with a Texas show over the weekend which saw him bail over money issues.

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine was slated to perform at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas on Sunday (June 27). The rainbow-haired rapper didn’t show up after claiming he wasn’t paid the rest of his $250,000 performance fee prior to the concert.

The Brooklyn native maintains he was just paid $70,000 in cash when he agreed to do the show as a deposit and hasn’t seen a dime since. Tekashi’s team relayed that full payment was part of the contractual obligation before the show and he returned the $70,000 to promoters.

While 6ix9ine and the promoters bickered back-and-forth, the fans were the ones that ended up getting hurt and wasting their Sunday.

Thousands pulled up from when the doors opened to the venue at 3 p.m. until they were kicked out by security and police at 10 p.m. local time with no announcement regarding 6ix9ine’s status ever being made. Some fans coughed up $500 for front row tickets while others shelled out up to $3,000 for VIP packages.

“You think he’d come hook me up with something,” he said. “He’s been giving money to other people. He gives money to everybody. ‘Here, here, here.’”
