6ix9ine Pulls Lil Durk & Girlfriend 'Gangsta' Cards Following Violent Home Shootout

Lil Durk and his girlfriend India Cox were reportedly involved in a violent shootout at the Chicago rapper’s Georgia home earlier this week.

According to TMZ, multiple people broke into Durk’s house around 5 a.m. on Sunday (July 11) and shots were exchanged. Although both Durk and Cox escaped without injury, the event would presumably be enough to shake anybody up.

Par for the course, Lil Durk’s most outspoken adversary, 6ix9ine, popped up in Akademiks’ Instagram comment section armed with insults and some off-color commentary about the incident, writing, “Y’ALL thought this man was gangsta [sideway crying laughing emojis]. They sliding on this man every other week DAMN give him a break [sideway crying laughing emojis].”

He added, “SOMEONE SAID @lildurk not gon slide till they kill his girlfriend [crying laughing emojis] YALL CRAZY.”

As people started to criticize 6ix9ine for his vitriol, the former government witness fired back with a jab at Lil Durk’s Only The Family collective.

“Don’t get mad at me otf meatriders LOL,” he wrote in one of his Instagram Stories. “I’m not the shooter [sideways crying laughing emojis].”

On July 12, Akademiks claimed Lil Durk’s home was raided in connection to a shooting that took place in a nearby gated community.

“Lil Durk’s residence in Atlanta had heavy police presence and was possibly raided due to an investigation about a shooting and other crimes,” Akademiks said. “They said there was an alleged shooting around where he lived at. This is a gated community, they called him the victim.

“His neighbors and people that lived in that community have reported it to me that like, ‘Yo, Durk live down there and there are mad cops. FBI is trying to execute a search warrant.’”

Lil Durk is scheduled to hit the road with Lil Baby in September for the Back Outside Tour.
