6ix9ine's Homeless Dad Needs Help But 'GOOBA' Rapper Is Too Busy Dissing Lil Durk & King Von

Posted by

6ix9ine has an unrelenting habit of trolling rappers who have lossed loved ones, mainly Chicago rapper Lil Durk. After King Von was fatally shot in Atlanta last November, 6ix9ine ruthlessly antagonized Von’s Only The Family brethren before retreating back to whatever social media hole he’d been hiding in.

Like a pesky whack-a-mole, 6ix9ine popped up again last month and continued haunting Lil Durk after his older brother OTF DThang was killed in another Chicago shooting. In fact, as of Thursday (June 24), he was still taking shots at Durk.

But while 6ix9ine is busy tormenting his peers, his father is reportedly in dire straits. According to Page Six, the polarizing rapper’s father is homeless and hoping for help from his famous and apparently wealthy son. In a video clip, Daniel Hernandez (who shares the same government name as 6ix9ine) reveals he’s been living in a shelter for over two years.

“Because I don’t have an apartment, he doesn’t know that I’m in the shelter,” Hernandez said. “Now he’s going to know I’ve been here for, what, two years already?”

Hernandez claims they’ve been estranged for more than a decade but still surprised he hasn’t come to his rescue.

“You think he’d come hook me up with something,” he said. “He’s been giving money to other people. … He gives money to everybody. ‘Here, here, here.’”

Hernandez showed up at 6ix9ine’s December 2019 sentencing and asked to speak on his behalf, but the judge told him, “It’s way too late to show and speak on his behalf. You squandered that right many years ago.”

6ix9ine was equally as confused as to why he was even there, saying at the time, “I took one glance — I see my biological father. I haven’t seen him since the third grade. I don’t even know if this is a fuckin’ joke, everything I go through.”

Hernandez didn’t meet his son until he was 9 years old after his mother supposedly kicked him out for shooting up heroin in the bathroom. Now 25, 6ix9ine apparently still doesn’t speak to him.
