Big Sean & Jhené Aiko Spark TWENTY88 Part II Rumors In The Studio

TWENTY88, the Big Sean and Jhené Aiko duo, haven’t put out any new music under their moniker together since their self-titled debut in 2016, but a recent Instagram video suggests the pair might have new tunes on the way in 2022.

Big Sean took to Instagram to post a brief clip of him sitting in the studio with Jhené, and while it remains unclear what the duo is cooking up, fans hope it’s TWENTY88 music.

The last time fans heard new TWENTY88 music was on Big Sean’s 2020 album Detroit 2. The couple reunited for “Time In,” and when speaking on the song in an interview with Ebro In The Morning said a TWENTY88 was potentially in the works.

“Yeah, I hope so,” Sean said when asked by Ebro if him and Jhené would ever make another full-length. “I think so. I remember when I was playing [Time In] for Jay Electronica that was like his favorite song, he like asked to hear that one back to back.

Collabing with [Jhené] is like one of the easiest things ever, you know? When we both are in a mood, you know? Cause when you in a relationship too sometimes you can be irritated with each other.”

Instead of ending 2021 with new music, Big Sean ended the year beefing with his former mentor and label head. After Kanye West insulted Sean during an interview on Drink Champs, the rapper bit back with his own Drink Champs interview, calling what Ye did “bitch ass shit.”

“I love Kanye, bro,” Sean said during his Drink Champs appearance. “I love him for the opportunity he gave me, and all these things. But I thought what he said was some bitch ass shit.”

Luckily the “All Your Fault” collaborators were able to mend relations in January 2022, after the pair were spotted together hitting the studio.

Kanye and Sean Don were seen in the photographs departing the studio side-by-side after reportedly hanging alongside Fivio Foreign, Pusha T, French Montana, The Game, Pressa and former NFL star Antonio Brown.
