Bobby Shmurda Explains Why Fans Have To Wait For New Music

Summer is about to end in a few weeks, and fans still don’t have any new music from Bobby Shmurda. The Brooklyn rapper had an insane amount of hype surrounding his release from a six-year prison sentence, and it amplified once footage of Bobby Shmurda in the studio made its rounds online.

But it’s been six months since Shmurda’s been a free man, and that hype has died down considerably. Fans are growing restless with the wait, and each update from the “Hot N-gga” rapper comes with a lukewarm response from the people. On Sunday (August 9), Bobby Shmurda took to his Instagram with another update on what he’s been up to lately.

“I’m Bizzy running round needed some time to breathe they had me locked up In the pins doing 23,” Shmurda wrote in the caption.

Fans can see Bobby Shmurda posing with a brand new gray McLaren in the set of pictures he posted on Instagram. It looks like fans have to wait until the 27-year-old makes up for the six years he spent inside a cell by enjoying his newfound freedom to the fullest.

At Rolling Loud Miami last month, Bobby Shmurda performed for the first time since being released, and fans weren’t feeling the new song he previewed. During his visit to Desus & Mero, Bobby Shmurda updated his highly-anticipated collaborative mixtape with Migos titled Shmigo Gang.

“We got all types of different music coming out,” he said. “We got the Shmurda shit coming out. We got the Shmigos shit coming out. It’s going to be a lit summer.”
