Boosie Badazz Warns Rappers Following PnB Rock’s Shooting Death

Boosie Badazz has issued a warning to rappers in the wake of PnB Rock‘s murder, saying artists should always be armed when walking around Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old Philadelphia rapper passed away on Monday (September 12) after he was fatally shot while dining at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles.

While tributes to PnB Rock have been pouring in from across the Hip Hop world, Boosie offered up some advice for rappers planning on taking a trip to L.A.

“Every time u n LA KEEP YOUR GUNS N YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER!!” Boosie tweeted on Tuesday (September 13). “BE READY TO SHOOT AT ALL TIMES!! KEEP YOUR HAND ON YOUR GLOCK (no safety) N SHOOT SOON AS YOU SEE HARM R ANYONE SUSPICIOUS!! They will rob n kill u ITS THE RAP MURDER CAPITAL #LA tip:to everyone lost they life n LA.”

Boosie is just the latest rapper to share his thoughts on PnB Rock’s death. Nicki Minaj also had a few thoughts on the situation, noting it was poor judgment from Rock’s girlfriend to share their location online ahead of the shooting.

“After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????!” she wrote on her Instagram. “He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock.”

Cardi B soon rebuked Nicki’s claim, writing that it was highly unlikely the killers found PnB Rock via Instagram.

“I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s babymom IG,” she tweeted. “He was in a bad location and people stay outside plotting. It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.”

Investigators have since said the aforementioned social media post “may have” actually led to Rock’s death.

“The target was expensive jewelry, property that he had on his person. We believe this senseless murder occurred following a posting on Instagram or social media,” Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said.

He continued: “The posting of that may have led to these individuals learning where he was at and going there specifically with the intention of robbing him because he’s known in the social media circles as frequently possessing very expensive jewelry and property of great value.”

As for Boosie, he recently lost his close friend Trouble after he was shot and killed in Rockdale County, Georgia back in June.

“I cried for hours straight on the plane in my daughter’s lap, my six-year-old’s lap,” Boosie told VladTV at the time. “It was so sad bruh, I’m crying in my six-year-old’s lap. She kept saying, ‘What’s wrong daddy?’ And all I could think about in my head was him and his daughter.”

He continued: “That’s all I could think about, him and his daughter, and me dying and my daughter hurting. That’s all I could think about, crying on my daughter.”

HipHopDX offers its condolences to PnB Rock’s family, friends and fans during this difficult time.
