Posted by Chanel Beads, the project spearheaded by Shane Lavers, has officially announced the upcoming release of a new album, Your Day Will Come, set to arrive on June 26th.
While the title may spark a sense of familiarity, it is not a re-issue or a re-work. Lavers released a project under the same name in 2024, but the artist explains that the songs emerging from his subsequent studio sessions felt intrinsically linked to the previous work, while simultaneously carving out a distinct identity of their own.
Arriving via Jagjaguwar, the album is introduced by the lead single, ‘Song For The Messenger’. Reflecting on the track, Shane Lavers notes, “This song is laughing at me. Like looking over your shoulder and walking off a cliff. The video is about no fear.”
