Coi Leray Links With Fellow New Jersey Native Fetty Wap For 'Better Days' Single

LOS ANGELES, CA – Coi Leray has recruited fellow Jersey native Fetty Wap for her latest single, “Better Days.”

The Nash B and Wymtime-produced track was released on Wednesday (April 29), and is set to live on an EP that Coi is working on with a projected summer release. After recording the song on her own, Coi knew the “Trap Queen” rapper would be perfect for the open verse and had her manager set up a meeting.

“I played it for him and he instantly fell in love with it and bodied the verse,” she said in a press release.

On the track, the 22-year-old looks ahead to better days as she goes through the ups and downs of relationships. After previously dating Trippie Redd, the pair went their separate ways in 2019. Trippie later spoke out against his ex in an interview, so it would appear that the split was certainly not amicable.

As for the as-of-yet named EP on the way, Coi is planning to tell her “whole story,” and says fans will get music “with a variety of sounds that will blow your mind.”
