Drake Flexes Iced-Out Watch & Ring After Breaking Long-Standing Beatles Record

Drake has celebrated his latest Billboard milestone by icing himself out in some new jewelry.

The 6 God took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (August 16) to show off a shiny new Richard Millie watch and glamorous ring from famed jeweler Alex Moss.

The ring, in particular, is quite a statement, as it’s called The Godfather Ring and contains 18k white gold and oval diamonds.

“100 in the top 20 I can’t do the rubber strap with that stat line,” Drake captioned the video.

The flashy new drip was bought by Champagne Papi to celebrate his latest career milestone. His “Staying Alive” single with DJ Khaled and Lil Baby debuted at No. 5 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, which means that Drizzy has now had 30 top five singles on the chart, surpassing The Beatles’ long-held record of 29 that stood tall for 55 years.

According to Billboard, Drake’s latest achievement also means he’s had 100 top 20 entries on the Hot 100 — more than any other artist in the chart’s 64-year history.

Drake celebrated the achievement on IG, jokingly writing that he was now pivoting his attention to Bitcoin.

“Ok I broke my records for the month now me and @stake need you to do your thing Bitcoin,” he wrote alongside a laughing face emoji. The caption was joined by a video of Drake winning $5.13 million in a virtual roulette game, followed by a Bitcoin tracker showing $24,000 earned.

This isn’t the first time Drake has broken a Billboard record. In 2021, he became the first artist to debut on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously with Certified Lover Boy and its single “Way 2 Sexy,” and did so again in June when his house-infused Honestly, Nevermind project and 21 Savage-assisted “Jimmy Cooks” both hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.

“Staying Alive” dropped last Friday (August 12) and kickstarted DJ Khaled’s 13th album rollout.

Right before the track dropped, Khaled hung out with Timbaland and referred to Drake as a “genius,” while Tim said that Drake’s latest feature was “the hook of the century.”

“When Drake wrote that hook… there’s a reason why certain people are called genius. This is when you understand that word, it’s called genius level,” Khaled said sitting next to Tim, who replied: “The hook of the century.”

Khaled responded: “Thank you! The whole world is going to sing it, no matter what. Let’s keep it real, I don’t give a fuck what’s playing. You can be in this mode, you can be in that mode, and then when this come on, everybody’s in sync. It’s like, ‘Hey everybody, come together!’”
