Jadakiss is honoring his late friend DMX with a humble act of charity. On Thursday (April 22), Jadakiss hit several neighborhoods in Yonkers to deliver food, fresh produce and various supplies to residents.

The Ignatius rapper announced he was giving out food in an Instagram post showing the location he was in at that moment. There were other clips showing the rapper getting in the mix and handing out boxes of food.

“Yo, right now, I’m in Palisade Towers, man,” Jadakiss said in the video. “Come down here we giving out free food in honor of X we just dropped off wild boxes at School Street. Now, we in Palisade Towers.”

He added, “Come through, get you a box of vegetables, fruits, produce all type of shit. I’m right here in the middle.”

School Street Projects was DMX’s childhood home and would be one of the many places the fallen legend would return to give back and be amongst the people. X never lost sight of where he came from and remained a real person despite being one of Hip Hop’s most legendary artists.

As a member of The Lox, Jadakiss stood side-by-side with DMX when the Ruff Ryder crew began cementing their legacy in the late ’90s. Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch left Bad Boy Records for Ruff Ryders Entertainment in 1998 after issues with Diddy’s label caused the trio to demand their exit.

During The Lox’s interview with HipHopDX, Styles P admitted throwing a chair at Diddy during one of their arguments was not the best idea. After the Notorious B.I.G.’s passing, Styles P explained things got hectic.

Styles P Calls Throwing A Chair At Diddy ‘Really Fucking Stupid’

“The moment with tossing the chair at Puff was a combination of being really fucking stupid and really fucking angry,” he revealed. “I think for me, Big was always the barrier, and the mediator, and the middle person. He was always able to make things make sense to me.”
