Kanye West Blasted By Tremaine Emory Over Virgil Abloh Comments: ‘I Got All The Receipts’

Kanye West has been blasted by designer Tremaine Emory after Ye blamed LVMH boss Bernard Arnault for the death of his late “best friend” Virgil Abloh.

Emory took to Instagram on Tuesday (October 4) to expose parts of Kanye’s alleged deteriorating friendship with Virgil during his final months.

“I gotta draw the line at you using Virgil’s death in your ‘ye’ is the victim campaign in front your sycophant peanut algorithm gallery,” the Denim Tears designer began in his scathing post.

He went on to call out Yeezy for not being invited to Virgil Abloh’s funeral and trashing his designs behind his back.

“Your best friend Virgil, NEGRO PLEASE,” Emory said, “this time last year you said Virgil’s designs are a disgrace to the black community infont of all your employees at yeezy -ASK LUCETTE HOLLAND…I GOT ALL THE “RECEIPTS” ( don’t let me get into the things you said about v after his death).

“Ye tell the ppl why you didn’t get invited to Virgil’s actual funeral the one before the public one at the museum. You knew Virgil had terminal cancer and you rode on him in group chats, at yeezy, interviews…YOU ARE SO BROKEN. KEEP VIRGIL NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH…KEEP @gabriellak_j NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH…Your not a victim your just an insecure narcissist that’s dying for validation from the fashion world…take care…at least we’ll always have ‘UGANDA’”

The Supreme creative designer’s post struck a chord with his followers as many left a note of approval in his comment section including IBN Jasper, who came up with Kanye in Chicago as his barber, Ye’s ex-girlfriend Julia Fox, jeweler Ben Baller and more.

Model Gigi Hadid took things a step further and went after Kanye by labeling him a “bully” and a “joke” for his remarks and harsh posts targeting Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who was critical of his YZY SZN 9 show on Monday (October 3).

“You wish u had a percentage of her intellect,” she wrote. “You have no idea haha… If there’s actually a point to any of your shit she might be the only person that could save u. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show could keep someone from giving their opinion? .. Lol. you’re a bully and a joke.”

Much of the outrage has come in response to Kanye’s YZY SZN 9 fashion show in Paris earlier this week, where he donned a long sleeve shirt that was part of the collection emblazoned with “White Lives Matter” across the back.

The “White Lives Matter” slogan has historically been uttered by white supremacists and critics of the Black Lives Matter movement, with the Anti-Defamation League going so far as to categorize the phrase as a hate slogan, so needless to say the shirt has had a polarizing effect online.

Boosie Badazz also took issue with Ye’s new tee, saying that the rapper/producer is being “disrespectful” to his own people.

Kanye West Responds To ‘White Lives Matter’ Outrage, Calls Black Lives Matter A ‘Scam’

“@kanyewest AFTER ALL WE BEEN THROUGH AS A RACE YOU PUT THIS DISRESPECTFUL SHIT ON!! U GIVES NO FUCKS ABOUT HOW BLACKS HAVE DIED N SUFFERED TO THE HANDS OF THE WHITE MAN N U SAY BUSH DON’T LIKE BLACK PEOPLE…REALLY N-GGA” Boosie wrote on Twitter.

Ye’s choice of political apparel comes as no surprise considering his penchant for controversy these past few years. He notably sided with Former President Donald Trump in 2018 and drew significant backlash for wearing a Make America Great Again cap and claiming American slavery had been a “choice” for Black people.

Kanye West’s YZY Season 9 fashion show arrived after the Yeezy mogul made his own runway debut as a Balenciaga model for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection on Saturday (October 1). The rapper opened the show, walking down a saturated and muddy runway at the Parc des Expositions.
