Kanye West Continues Kid Cudi Slander Over Pete Davidson Friendship

The public drama between Kanye West and Kid Cudi continues. Hours after Ye announced his Kids See Ghosts collaborator wouldn’t be involved with Donda 2, the billionaire Hip Hop mogul posted an Instagram photo of Pete Davidson seated next to Cudi with a giant red X across the Saturday Night Live actor’s face.

He wrote in the caption, “I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK. THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER.”

The 44-year-old rapper/producer then explained why he didn’t want Kid Cudi to continue his friendship with Pete Davidson (or as he called him “Skete”) because he’s still desperately trying to put his family back together.

“I’M VERY COMMUNITY ORIENTED I LOVE MY FRIENDS I LOVE MY FAMILY,” he wrote in call caps. “THE REASON I ASKED CUDI TO AT THE LEAST SPEAK TO SKETE IS BECAUSE FOR YEARS CUDI ALWAYS MADE IT SEEM LIKE IT WAS ME AND HIM AGAINST EVERYONE NOW THAT IM FIGHTING FOR MY FAMILY HE NOT BY MY SIDE THIS IS BIGGER THAN MUSIC.”

But Kanye West wasn’t done there. In another Instagram post he shared with his 11.5 million followers, he reiterated how betrayed he felt by Kid Cudi using a photo of the Man On The Moon artist.

“I WOULD HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR THE LOYALTY IF IT WAS NEVER OFFERED AND I FOUND A COOL PICTURE CAUSE I LOVE CUDI AND ALWAYS WILL,” he captioned the photo. “BUT DONDA 2 IS ABOUT RUNNING BACK IN THAT BURNING HOUSE I RESPECT NOT EVERYONE GONNA BE READY FOR THE SMOKE.”

Kanye is upset Pete Davidson is dating his estranged wife Kim Kardashian — and evidently wants everyone to know it. Whether this is simply a childish way of promoting Donda 2 or he’s genuinely lashing out online is only something Kanye really knows.

Whatever the case, Kid Cudi responded to Kanye’s Donda 2 declaration in a series of Twitter posts, saying, “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u fuckin dinosaur hahaha. Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since I met you. Ima pray for u brother.”

He followed up with, “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”
