Kanye West Demands Billie Eilish Apologize To Travis Scott Before He Hits 2022 Coachella Stage

Travis Scott is still trying to pick up the pieces from the Astroworld disaster in November 2021 that left 10 people dead and more than 300 injured. Since that deadly crowd surge, many artists have been taking extra care to pause their shows in case their fans need help, such as Billie Eilish.

The Happier Than Ever star halted proceedings during a recent concert in Atlanta to help a young woman in the crowd while appearing to shade Travis Scott in the process. “You need an inhaler?” Eilish asked the fan before saying, “I wait for people to be ok until I keep going.”

On Thursday (February 10), Kanye West took to Instagram to address Billie for the apparent diss, and demanded she apologize to Travis as he’s still reeling from the tragedy. Ye also dropped a bombshell regarding his Coachella performance that once belonged to Travis Scott.

“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN,” Kanye wrote in the caption of his post. “TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM.”

Travis Scott was stripped of his 2022 Coachella headliner set in December. The reason for his removal went as follows: “With the recent tragic and unnecessary death at Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert, due to Scott’s own gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life, we ask AEG, Paul Tollet, and Goldenvoice to remove his as performer at all of their festivals.”

Many have been wondering how Travis Scott could bounce back from the tragedy or if it was even possible to do so. It could happen with Kanye’s help, but DaBaby and Marilyn Manson are still looked at negatively despite hanging around Ye for much of the DONDA rollout.
