Posted by Irish artist KhakiKid returns with his latest single, ‘Easy Does It.’ The track follows a stellar 12 months for the Irish figure, who garnered significant acclaim with April’s ‘Girl Bites Dog’ EP and its follow-up, ‘Moanbag,’ which featured the viral hit ‘Date Nite.’
Since those releases, he has performed some of his most significant headline shows to date in Dublin and London, using the stages to debut fresh material. The intimate nature of ‘Easy Does It’ was built from initial sketches, with its freewheeling structure owing a debt to producer Chameleon.
KhakiKid crafted his vocal performance from snippets of voice notes recorded while cycling through Dublin. The producer then wove these raw elements into a complex, atmospheric tapestry of sound. Out now, you can check out the official video below.
