No, Yaya Mayweather Didn't Fan Flames With Asian Doll Over NBA YoungBoy

With eight children, NBA YoungBoy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) is bound to have some personal drama with their mothers.

Yaya Mayweather, who delivered his seventh child last January, was arrested in April 2020 for stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, another woman who has a child with the Billboard chart-topping rapper. Since then, Mayweather has clashed with rapper Asian Doll after she allegedly cheated on the late King Von with YoungBoy.

On Friday (January 21), Akademiks shared an Instagram post that allegedly contained a screenshot from Mayweather that read, “Ain’t nobody gonna play with Kentrell and that’s on MY SON. And if that bitch Asian Doll want smoke it’s up.”

Shortly after the post went viral, Mayweather hopped on Instagram and denied posting anything of the sort.

“I never posted that,” she said in her Instagram Stories. “Stop making fake post and involving me in stuff that has nothing to do with me.”

She added, “Blogs are looking for something so bad that they’re posting fake things trying to start stuff not remembering behind social media is people’s real lives. I have a son I have to take care of. Please stop.”

Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy have had an on-again, off-again relationship for years. Mayweather allegedly grew incensed when she arrived to his house and found Jacobs there. After informing Jacobs she was YoungBoy’s fiancée, she ordered her to leave. When she refused, an argument ensued and moved into the kitchen, where Mayweather grabbed two knives.

As Jacobs stepped toward Mayweather, she reportedly charged at Jacobs with one of the knives. Jacobs was then hit with the second knife and fell to the floor, where she was discovered by EMTs in a pool of blood. She was treated at the hospital and released.

Mayweather’s trial is reportedly set for February 2022. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
