Omarion Says B2K Doc Will Address All Of The Ex-Group's Dramas

After wrapping up his highly anticipated Verzuz battle against Mario, Omarion’s former B2K brethren all determined that their fellow band member got “served” by the “Just A Friend” singer. In response, Omarion sat down with TMZ Live and said a forthcoming docuseries on the group will detail B2K’s tumultuous break-up, and shine a light on a few of the dramatic headlines that ultimately ended the band.

“We call that being unbothered,” Omarion said when asked about whether B2K’s behavior distressed him. “Being unbothered it just means that you don’t give someone else your power and you decide how to respond instead of reacting. Reacting to everything can be a disadvantage because it’s thoughtless and it doesn’t serve you. So standing up for yourself during challenging times is essential to staying and maintaining your peace. So this is a great opportunity for me to just give my public and my fans…even context to the Verzuz everything that has happened thus far I have never spoken on.”

He continued, “So this docu really encapsulates my truth and my perspective. I would also like to say just about our journey and starting so young as kids a lot of people are responsible for our relationship at this current moment in time. Me being the last member to come into the group and them already having some kind of synergy, it always has felt within the scope of my career that I never had their support.

“Which I don’t think came from them. I think it came from…elders and people that were meant to be supporting us at the time. So, you know, this docu really shows exactly some of the things that has happened through our journey.”

The docuseries will reportedly be titled OMEGA: The Gift & The Curse.

B2K has been riddled with internal drama for years. Most recently, Raz B shared an email from the group’s attorney Allen Jacobi that allegedly revealed Omarion was no longer a part of the group.

“@omarion you been out the group! Bruh,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram. “It’s amazing how you think everybody fucks with you!!! Chris Brown didn’t even come out on your last L.A. set. The industry talks lil man!”

The split seemed to have gone down in 2019 after the mother of Omarion’s child, Apryl Jones, began having a sexual relationship with fellow B2K bandmate Lil Fizz. On the opening night of the group’s Millennium Tour in 2021, Fizz took a moment during the show to publicly apologize to Omarion for dating the mother of his child.

“I did some fucked up shit to my brother,” Fizz can be seen saying in a clip of the exchange. “I did some snake ass shit, and I’m not proud of it. So, I want to sit here humbly and sincerely apologize to you for any turmoil or dysfunction I caused between you and your family.”

Omarion accepted the apology and continued with the show, but drama has since unfolded between the group members as a result of Omarion’s recent Verzuz battle. The singer fired back at his bandmates’ claims of getting washed, calling them nothing more than “backup dancers.”
