Pulp have confirmed plans for a new live album and concert film. The band returned last year with their excellent studio album ‘More’, accompanied by some incredible live shows. A performance at Glastonbury — enhanced by the Red Arrows — was trending on social media, with other highlights including a long-awaited Sheffield return.
Pulp’s performance at The O2 Arena in London has been captured for posterity, with the evening due to be released as a live album and concert film.

The album will be titled ‘Live!’ and it will be released through Rough Trade Records on August 28th. “A concert is an event where songs come back to life. That’s why this album is called ‘Live!’” says frontman Jarvis Cocker. “It’s both a statement of fact (it’s a recording of a live band) & a challenge (come on! Everyone come alive!).”
Alongside this, new concert film ‘Pulp: What Do You Do For an Encore?’ is incoming on streaming channel MUBI. Directed by Garth Jennings — who first worked with the band on 1997 promo clip ‘Help The Aged’ — you can check out a preview clip below.
