Reporter Asks Fulton County DA About Jack Harlow's Involvement In YSL Indictment

Atlanta, GA – Young Thug and Gunna were two of the 28 individuals named in a 56-page indictment on Monday (May 9). The charges made by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department stem from violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery and gang activity. Once the shocking news broke, Twitter was quickly flooded with reactions, memes and various commentary.

Some people were also throwing an artist’s name they didn’t like into the mix, claiming they were somehow associated with YSL and suggesting authorities should look into them. The likes of Jack Harlow and singer Queen Naija were a couple of artists used in tweets that went viral.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis hosted a press conference on Tuesday morning (May 10) and one reporter, who either was trolling or has no idea about who Jack Harlow is, asked about the “First Class” rapper’s involvement in the YSL case.

“The indictment’s got Young Thug and a bunch of other rappers,” he asked. “There was one name I was actually expecting to see here that I didn’t, that’s Jack Harlow. Can you speak to that?”

The District Attorney didn’t bat an eye and responded with a serious answer while nobody else in the room seemed to know what was going on.

“What I’ll tell you is that as large as this indictment is, I told my team let’s not be sexy, and let’s not overreach,” she said. “Let’s be conservative in our approach.”

The clip throwing Jack Harlow’s name into the press conference quickly made the rounds and went viral on social media. Harlow hasn’t responded to the video or anything YSL-related as of press time.

Obviously, the Louisville native isn’t tied to YSL in any way while growing up in Kentucky and being signed to DJ Drama’s Generation Now label, but he’s dominated headlines in recent weeks with the release of his sophomore Come Home The Kids Miss You album.
