As one of the original collectives that helped architect the foundations of the genre, the group’s name remains synonymous with the evolution of grime itself. Having previously served as a launchpad for icons such as Wiley and Skepta, the crew has played an instrumental role in defining the sound’s cultural impact.
Now, the storied collective is making a powerful return. The group has confirmed their first major release in years, with Best In The Game slated to arrive this summer via FABRICLIVE.
Reflecting on the project, the members of Roll Deep noted: “The sound is the same. The current squad is very strong, I feel like we have all elements of Roll Deep in there. We’ve always had different members and formations. We just need to make sure we’re focused on making the best grime music we can.”
The announcement is spearheaded by the release of their fiery new single, ‘B.U.N.’ An epic, muscular return to form, the track builds upon the group’s incredible legacy while carving out fresh, innovative pathways within the grime landscape.
