Posted by New Jersey rapper Skinnyfromthe9 just a signed a deal with Soulja Boy’s SODMG label, but the discussion quickly shifted on Wednesday (July 21) when Almighty Jay posted a video dropping him in a bare knuckle street fight.
Fans unsurprisingly chimed in with their thoughts on the brawl. Skinnyfromthe9 wasn’t happy about people comparing him to 6ix9ine, which comes from Almighty Jay claiming he snitched on him to the police.
“Real n-ggas handle they problems like men,” wrote on his Instagram Stories following the fight. “No hoe in me. 69 woulda never shot a fade. Stop comparing us.”

Almighty Jay proudly shared a 49-second video of their fight on Twitter, showing them throwing fists in a parking lot with Skinnyfromthe9 ultimately getting knocked to the ground twice.

The two rappers have been going back-and-forth online for over two years after the former YBN rapper allegedly stole $80,000 worth of property from Skinnyfromthe9. The robbery took place on Valentine’s Day in 2019, with suspects getting away with a $40,000 chain, $20,000 Rolex and $20,000 in cash. Law enforcement named Almighty Jay as one of the two suspects.

Skinnyfromthe9 previously shared his thoughts on 6ix9ine snitching in a September 2019 interview with TMZ.
“I don’t hate 6ix9ine or nothing like that, but I think it was wrong what he did,” he said at the time. “But every person makes their own decisions at the end of the day. You know, me and 6ix9ine, we go through the same things, I feel like. It’s gonna be hard for him, but he got a huge fanbase so all he gotta do is make another hit record.”
He added, “I don’t know what he’s gonna say in his songs, that’s the weird part. What is he gonna say? But if he can make the hit, he’d definitely make a comeback.”
