A couple of young Travis Scott fans were just blessed with some unreleased heat directly off of the feet of La Flame himself.
On Thursday (June 23), the Astroworld rap star was exiting well-known L.A. restaurant TAO in Hollywood, following dinner and a night of impromptu DJing with Rae Sremmmurd rapper Swae Lee, and decided to embrace the crowd of fans waiting for him in the alley by giving away a pair of his Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” sneakers.
The hours of waiting and their karaoke performance of La Flame’s Drake-assisted “Sicko Mode” hit obviously paid off for the two young fans who received the shoes, as the kicks are currently valued at over three thousand dollars on StockX right now, ahead of their July 21 release date.
Late last month, Travis Scott caused a frenzy online with a pair of Nike shoe releases, which include the Travis Scott Air Max 1’s and the Nike Air Trainer 1’s — which, according to TMZ, attracted over one million entries on the online raffle for the release in just 30 minutes.
It appears Travis Scott has been in the giving spirit, as he revealed in an Instagram post that his fan-beloved Air Max 1’s weren’t actually meant to hit the market at first until he had a change of heart.
“Top of the top I originally cooked these pair for my homies and family but they got enough shoes and I figured it be cooler to share them with y’all instead,” he wrote on Instagram.
