Trey Songz Cleared In Vegas Sexual Assault Case

Las Vegas, NV – While Trey Songz is still embroiled in numerous lawsuits involving women who have accused him of sexual assault, the R&B crooner put one legal issue to rest on Friday (April 8), as the Las Vegas Police Department announced they’re no longer investigating him for rape.

As broken by TMZ, Trey was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while in town to celebrate his 37th birthday party last November. The incident had allegedly occurred after hours at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel when the “Heart Attack” singer and his entourage returned from Drai’s Nightclub with numerous women.

“The LVMPD has concluded the investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Tremaine Neverson and determined that no criminal charges will be filed,” police told TMZ. “If any new evidence comes to light, the case will be reopened for further investigation.”

In December 2021, former University of Las Vegas women’s basketball star Dylan Gonzalez also publicly accused the singer of being a rapist, tweeting, “Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I couldn’t hold that in another year. See you in 2022.”

Trey Songz has denied all allegations.
