Yung Miami doesn’t have marriage plans yet, but she isn’t ruling out the idea of Diddy putting a ring on it in the future.
In a new interview with POPSUGAR, the City Girls star discussed her high-profile relationship with the Bad Boy mogul, which has been feeding the curiosity of music fans and media outlets alike since last summer.
The 28-year-old once again defended her and Puff’s romance from outside opinions before dropping a hint that the two of them may eventually walk down the aisle together.
“People don’t know us,” she said. “They don’t know what the fuck we got goin’ on. I’m in there like, ‘Shut the fuck up. Y’all don’t know what we have going on. Me and him gon’ be married — boom!’ No, I’m just saying.”
Diddy and Yung Miami first sparked dating rumors in June 2021 when they were seen holding hands at Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ birthday party, but it wasn’t until this June that they made their romance official.
“We date. We’re dating,” the Harlem-bred hustler confirmed during an appearance on Miami’s REVOLT interview series Caresha Please after she pressed him to define their relationship.
Since then, the Hip Hop power couple have been going strong. In July, Diddy and Yung Miami enjoyed a romantic vacation together in Paris, where they were photographed holding hands.
Earlier this month, Puff professed his admiration for the “Act Up” hitmaker by gifting her an iced-out chain with a pendant that spells out “Love,” a nod to his R&B-leaning alias.
Fans have routinely tried to connect some of Yung Miami’s cryptic social media messages to her relationship with Diddy, such as a tweet in August revealing she was “having a mental breakdown.” However, the Florida native promptly shut down the notion that it was related to her love life.
“People really make up stories,” she said on Instagram Live. “Y’all make up so much shit… This shit I read about me online, yo I had a mental breakdown because of something I was going through in my personal work-life.”
As for fellow City Girl JT, she spoke glowingly of her boyfriend Lil Uzi Vert in the POPSUGAR interview.
“It made me a much better person,” she said of their relationship. “I feel like I found my home with him, my safe space. Once you find your safe space, you know.”
